Florence hotel

Any suggestions for hotel in Florence for a few nights. Need good location, close to sights. Two rooms so not over $200 each. Two teens so a good breakfast would be nice. Nice, helpful staff. Looking at Torre Guelfa, Allesandra & Calzaivouli. ANy other ideas?
Thanks

Put "Florence hotels" into the search window above for hundreds of replies.

Bob, thanks but I don't have time to look through "hundreds of replies". We don't need the "most romantic" nor a budget hotel or the most luxurious with the best view. It would be faster for me to go to trip advisor, look for our price range, read reviews & then look at location.

I was just wondering if anyone, thinking of our situation had a great suggestion. If you do, that would be great.

If you put Florence hotels in the search function, the first ten or so threads will have lists so you don't really have to wade through hundreds. If you want people to comment on the ones you are considering (such as good location, etc.) listed above, put links to their websites.

Sounds like a plan.

Venere.com is also good for narrowing down by price and area.

We love the Pendini. It's on Piazza Republica. Ask for a nice room overlooking the piazza. It's in your price range, breakfast is delish, it's very central and the people are wonderful.

I have a list of ten hotels with links on the 3rd post in the search function. It would have taken less time than your reply.

Betsy-- logically, Bob was not suggesting you actually look at hundreds of replies. Logically, he suggested you browse as there was plenty to pick from already. Seems you semed to be so pressed for time, stop the dilly dally and choose already....

I looked at hundreds of hotels...try Il Guelfo Bianco, they have a 2 room apartment in the hotel and it looks really nice plus gets rave reviews on Tripadvisor.

I would also check out Orto d'Medici.

I will advise you to stay far, far away from the Hotel Kraft...we had to cancel our trip and wanted to use the deposit for a future visit and they wouldn't do it. Their attitude was completely callous and rude...basically, we don't give refunds, too bad. I didn't even want a refund, just a credit.
