Florence & Sienna lodging tips

Would be delighted if someone can suggest a hotel or b&b in Florence or Sienna with good location and priced around 150 E. We'll be there in 10 days! Thank you!!!

Hi
If you do a search here on Florence and on Siena (note spelling) you will find many suggestions.
One popular place in Florence is the Hotel Casci.

Since you are short on time, would you consider an apartment? www.florencevillas.com has great ones in florence and sometimes they can book at last minute.

In Siena, the Hotel Cannon d'Oro is tough to beat for location (a short walk to the campo in the heart of the best part of the city), and it's in your price range.

It's not fancy, but we liked it and it comes pretty highly recommended in the price range.

The language barrier strikes again -- it's the Albergo Cannon d'Oro. Here's the link:

A great place in Siena...

It's located just steps from the main campo.

We liked Tourist House Ghiberti in Florence -great location, comfortable rooms and a jacuzzi (nice after a long day at the museums). I believe we paid 125 Euros a night.

I second Tourist House Ghiberti for Florence, we are actually here right now (love the internet in the room!). We are paying 140 euro which incl. a 10 euro cash discount. I am really satisfied for the price and the location is excellent.

Robino,

Go to www.sleepinitaly.com. They helped us get B&B rooms in Florence, Rome and Venice. Most helpful staff.
