Floods lower Rhein?

after the awful floods in Switzerland and Bavaria and the upper Rhein does anybody know if the area of Dusseldorf /Koln is affected or is likely to be hit. I'm going to Dusseldorf 6th to 8th September

Duh. It's taken me all day to figure out this title. It's not about how floods could lower the level of the Rhein! But about floods in the lower Rhein.

hi Katharine,
no problems in the Neckar area - we were not hit by the flood.

hi Katharine,
no, this time we were lucky. Even I had a strange way home during one thunderstorm. But I go slow and enjoyed the lightning. And for this week the summer is here in south Germany at last. No rain, just sun - so the beergardens will survive.

have fun
