Flight - When to Book for Best Prices?
I'm looking at booking a flight from Frankfurt to Budapest in mid September. I have no flexibility on the departure day.
The flights seem awfully expensive. Do they tend to have sales and specials listed after the weekend?
Right now I'm finding $250 Canadian each with one stop. There are some that are cheaper but with longer layovers.
Maybe this a reasonable price and I shouldn't be looking for a sale.

Your are probably not looking at discounters that do not show up on sites like Expedia, etc. Look at http://wizzair.com €20-30 fares (but they go from Frankfurt Hahn)

Thanks htko. I just checked wizzair out. Much more reasonable price.
We'll be overnighting at a (pre-paid) hotel near FRA airport. I'm trying to figure out how difficult and how long it will take to get to Hahn. Any ideas on this.

Link to Hahn airport website http://www.hahn-airport.de/default.a...=by_bus&cc=en#
On the map, click with your cursor over Frankfurt and a new window will open with all the info on a bus service between the two airports.
