Flexible travel to Europe

I have a friend who travels to Europe with "flexible travel tickets" - or at least that's my understanding. If I'm understanding correctly, the flights are cheaper but he can find out 4 days ahead of time his flight has changed a date. I think he's used Justfly.com in the past. Has anyone heard of this type of travel?

My husband & I travel to Europe once a year, but I've always bought tickets direct from the airlines. I haven't done a third party option. And I'm personally unfamiliar with "flexible travel" where I guess dates can be changed?

Any advice is appreciated! We love going to Europe so saving money on airline tickets is always a bonus!

"Flexible" travel normally means picking dates and/or days of the week when planes need to fill more seats.

Although I have no first hand experience with Justfly, You might want to read this link, from what I believe is a reputable blog, on the company: https://medium.com/@AkshaySharmaUS/w...t-c7d4b51e182f

There have been a number of credible complaints about Justfly on this forum. I wouldn't use them.

Suze, read the link that Whitehall provided. The reviews here on Fodors were similar. People were left losing their money and not having a flight. At least some reviews were on the Air Travel Forum.
