do a search on London on this site and you'll find lots of suggestions for all three. go to www.allthingbritish.com which has links to londontown and theatre sites.

i am also going over for the first time and have found so much information on this site as well as books. I am planning a show at the Globe theater.Midsummer's night Dream Also sent away for Ceremony of the Keys tickets. Plan on seeing the major sites and a few out of London trips. Browse through information and see what appeals to you and draw up an itenerary. The books also list popular restaurants and give prices also.I would start with familiarizing yourself with London by reading first then come to this site and ask questions. You will have many after reading up on London.I feel like I know London even though i have never travelled there. Have fun Jean

we've gone to London yearly for at least 35 years..and we still haven't seen or done it all...it changes daily depending on your interests. This is an especially good time to see it . Things not normally open to the public will be....try www.stringofpearls.org.uk..

read guides. choose what interests you, do searches here,
I find London addictive.. I no longer need to do the tourist sites, but once I'm there I feel like it's my home..

In fact, I get around better there than at home!

since this is your first trip..do the tourist stuff, but also pick out something that really interests YOU..
we love antiques, especially silver , so the Gilbert collection is a must see every trip , just to study it and to learn..and this year it has a special collection on view. So we hit Portobello and other markets to look for "treasure". Some of my friends are really into books so Hatchard's is their first stop and their last as well!

Try www.officallondontheater.co.uk for very complete play listings and reviews.

There are restaurants every 100 feet..so it all depends on your budget and taste..never fear you won't starve!

too long as usual..if you have a specificquestion feel free to email
