ferry tickets
We are going to Greece for our honeymoon in June - I am having trouble getting ferry tickets from U.S. Is it okay to wait till we get to Greece to buy tickets (is there a chance of them being sold out) and can we get them at each of the islands? we are going from Hydra to Athens and Mykonos to Santorini? please advise.

When we went for our honeymoon in Greece 2 years ago in June, we took a ferry from Santorini to Ios and just bought the tickets there. It's a big boat, can take hundreds of passengers and you could even bring your car. Forgot how much it cost. Enjoy your trip.

You don't have to worry at all finding transportation from Hydra to the Piraeus. There are several hydrofoil/catamaran daily departures. Just get your ticket when you're in Hydra. Regarding the Mykonos-Santorini piece, do you have a specific date already?
