As all the 2010 schedules are not yet published, can anyone advise whether there was an afternoon or evening ferry from Piraeus to Signos last year on a Tuesday in August.

Thanks for this. Sod's law that Tuesday is the only day that Speedlines don't have an afternoon ferry. Our flight doesn't arrive until 11am. I think there are some other ferry companies that sail to Sifnos but they haven't published timetables yet - that's why I was asking if anyone can remember or knows from last year.

Next Tuesday (4 May), there is an afternoon sailing from Pireas (at 1430) to Sifnos by Zante Ferries' ADAMANTIOS KORAIS (www.zanteferries.gr). August sailings don't seem to be in their booking system yet.
There is no guarantee that sailings will be similar to last summer's. Hellenic Seaways, for example, have sold two of their Highspeed vessels.
