In Paris I'd recommend an excellent gourmet restaurant Maison Blanche. Its expensive but well worth it and the view can't be beat. Its off of Roosevelt next to the expensive clothing designers and you need a reservation. I would also recommend not eating Pizza in Paris even if there is nothing else available.
