Favorite Chistmas Market webcam

Since many of us are unable to visit the Christmas markets during Advent this year, I was wondering if you have discovered a favorite webcam to view the Christmas Markets or other special place in Germany/Austria or Switzerland.

There are two webcams on the Christkindlmarkt in front of the Rathaus (town hall) in Vienna:

Just thought I'd brag and say that we've already visited Frankfurt's, Cologne's neumarkt, Bonn, Bad Godesberg, Sieburg's medeival and Burg Satzvey's medeival. We live here!! Burg Satzvey was the best so far.

Hi,

I've been enjoying watching the Christmas markets from my "hometown" in Germany. It is in the Black Forest - http://www.weihnachtsmarkt-freiburg.de . You can move the view around and the picture updates every 20 seconds or so. It is almost possible to people-watch from afar while they shop.

Best Regards,
Julia

This was some of THE BEST time I've ever wasted! Thanks KS452 for the bird's eye view! What fun!

Me, too! I had to take the Christmas markets webcams off as my homepage - spending too much time daydreaming and people watching. Makes me want to drop everything and catch the next flight to Europe. Sigh.

Best Regards,
Julia

My favorite Germany webcam is http://www.tuebingen.de/1559_webcam.html

My daughter is spending a year at the University of Tubingen and this Markplatz is 5 minutes from her apt. I look at it all the time. One day she was on her cell phone from the markplatz while her sister and I watched her online and talked on the phone.
