Family gathering location-Luberon area?

A big birthday is coming up in our family and we want to all gather (happens rarely) for a family vacation. There will be 6 adults and 1 teen. Any recommendations for a nice rental for all of us. Even if we have separate apts. in the same complex would work. One family may stay at the place for 2 weeks and the others perhaps just one. Help??

Anyone?? A three or four bedroom, three bathroom place?? Or a place with one and two bedroom units?

I must have missed this yesterday.

Take a look at the two houses Henrietta Taylor rents in Saignon, a small village just east of Apt:

My wife and I rented Rose Cottage in 2003 with my brother and his wife. It was perfect. I think the other house in Saignon--Place de la Fontaine--is even bigger.

It seems that if you different families are staying different amounts of time you probably need something in a complex. A couple of suggestions:

However you might also be interested in this house between Bonnieux and Lacoste that our family has rented twice, once for 6+ months. It is an absolutely beautiful location. The fourth bedroom would work for a teenager:

We have also rented the Rose Cottage and it's great, especially if you want a village location. All the other properties have pools.

I would be glad to give you more personal info about La Bastide Vieille or the Rose Cottage.

Hi Cigale-- yes, it's me. Maybe I should have kept the name the same... not quite sure why I didn't. Friends kept telling me I needed to spend time on Fodors too. I like it...

Sorry Canuck... I didn't mean to post the same place twice.

Here is another "complex" near Roussillon. It's a winery (good wine!) with several houses and apartments. Pretty views across to the Grand Luberon...

Thanks for suggestions. I will follow up with them. We're not going until the last week in August 2007 but with three families in different parts of the world, we have to plan well.
We were hoping for something in the neighbourhood of $2500-$3000 for the week (U.S. dollars). Do-able so we all have our own WC?
