Family Eating in Paris
Any suggestions for restaurants in Paris that are good for families. We don't have small kids(20 & 16) but everyone usually wants something different!!!! And expensive restaurants get really expensive with 4 people Thanks so much - cindi

There may be posters with personal expereince that chime in, but there is another way to get lots of this info. Go up to the Fodor's Restaurants section on the banner above this Forum and check out the inexpensive ones. There are descriptions and many of the folks that post here are also "reviewers" of those eateries. I did this for my un-techy SIL lately when she went to Paris and she and her teen were quite pleased with the recco's.

All the restaurants we go to have something for everyone. Look for the threadsa about rue Cler. Another one is a thread about the 20E dinner. We took all our kids and spouses a couple of years ago. Great eating and not expensive. I consider Paris the bargain destination of the world--even with the bad exchange rate. What ARE you looking for.

FLUNCH
This is a string of down-home French food buffet/cafeteria restaurants where for a very reasonable fee you can have all the salad and veggies you want, one meat plate and wine or bevergae, etc. Probably around 10 euro and you don't leave hungry, deal with waiters, etc.
All over Paris and France and a real favorite with French though when i've mentioned it on Fodor's several times usually met with disdain.

Given your children are adults, you shouldn't be looking for a family restaurant, as that means kids. You just want a cheap restaurant. ANy restaurant will have a variety of choices on the menu.
I think one of the Chez Clement restaurants sounds just right for you. I like the one in Montparnasse, but that's the only one I've been to -- but I know it's good and pleasant. They have several locations in central Paris
