I agree with whoever had an issue with the shoes...that seems like a lot by my standards. Mine tend to take up more room than I'd like.
My niece and several fellow studens visited us during her semester in Malagà. They all had purchased the "latest" shoe, hat & scarve fashions at the local market and looked so cute, trendy, and "local" upon their arrival. If I had a little discretionary money (and unless you have unusual sized/special needs feet) I'd buy local and lighten up my baggage.
