You wouldn't have been able to validate the pass when getting on the bus outside the ligne d'azur tarif zone as the machines are switched off untill cap d'ail [from menton]
It annoys me that the ticket offices at the airport sell the lignde d'azur 7 day passes without explaining to people that they are not vaild for monaco, menton, Antibes, St paul de vence etc -as many people would save money by not buying the pass if they are going to do a lot of travel outside the tarif zone
