Extra Day Trogir vs Hvar

We have 9 days to divide in these two places before we go for 1 week to dubrovnik. Where should we spend and extra day. So 5 days vs 4.

For sure, Hvar!!

Torgir is lovely, but it is so small, with Hvar you can take day trips to outlying islands and just soak up wonderful Hvar.

Hvar, Hvar, Hvar!!

Definitely Hvar. But perhaps include a third destination as well? 5 in Hvar and 4 in Trogir might be a tad too much. I would add another location (Korcula, maybe?) and do 3-3-3 or something. Just my thoughts...

We just came back from Croatia and we spent 2 nights in Hvar and 1 in Trogir and I agree that time is better spent in Hvar. When in Trogir, you could go to Split (we loved it) for a day but Trogir is very small, you can see most everything in 1/2 day. I, too, would check into Korcula..we spent 2 days there. We took the catamaran from Split to Hvar to Korcula and then the bus to Dubrovnik. Sasi

Thanks everyone maybe we will add an extra night for hvar. Th reason for staying so long in one place is that we have a 3 yr old daughter and 3 month old daughter and we want to go at a very slow pace. We will be ending with 7 nights in dubrovnik. Also does anyone know at what time the fast Caterman goes between split and hvar town.
