Experience with www.parisperfect.com?

Hi everyone,

DH and I are thinking about a London/Paris trip in July. It would be my 3rd trip to Paris and his first. It would be a 1st time to London for both of us.

How have your experiences with Paris Perfect been? They have 2 apts. open for my dates (Pomerol and Fleurie). Has anyone stayed in either of these? The e-mail contact I've had with them so far has been excellent, very timely and professional. I'm just wondering how other people found this company and their apartments. They have AC, which we definitely need!

Also, how is the 7th Arr. compared to the 5th? I just stayed in the 5th with my family and loved it, and I'm wondering how the 7th compares. OK, thanks in advance for anyone's help

ParisPerfect is an absolutely first-rate outfit. I stayed in Bordeaux last year, and the apartment was stunning, the service impeccable.

The 7th is my favorite arrondissement - more upscale and residential than the 5th. Classy neighborhood with just enough restaurants, nightlife, etc., for me, but also quiet enough to get a good night's sleep.

Hi Beachgirl
We stayed in the Pinot apartment Sept before last. We thought they were very professional, a pleasure to deal with and we were very happy with the apartment. Would highly recommnend them. We loved the 7th, agree fully with StCirq. Go for it!

We have stayed in 3 Parisperfect apts. and have found them all excellent; views, service, amenities(a/c), and location. They are mostly located in the Bourdonnais/Rapp/St. Dominique neighborhood. The only drawback I am aware of is the cost, they aren't cheap. Like you, I love the 5th having stayed there a couple of times, but I prefer the elegance and open green space in the 7th. The real clincher though for me are the restaurants; The 5th has I think only 1 starred restaurant and 1 Bibb Gourmand, while the 7th has about 11 of each. If culture is your thing, the 7th has 4 of the top museums; the new Quai Branly, Orsay, Rodin, and the cluster at Les Invalides, plus a few lesser lights. The 5th is more vibrant, especially in the Latin Quarter with a higher percentage of student age population and the superb Luxembourg Gardens just across the street in the 6th. Both areas have their devotées, and they are not that far apart, maybe about 300 yards.

Just chiming in to agree with everyone else. We have stayed in six of the Parisperfect apartments and loved the whole experience. Also love the 7th arrondissement!

Agree with all of the above comments re Paris Perfect.

Met with Carolyn in Feb. to see apartments. I have one rented for October. I will be renting more as time goes by.

The 7th is a great area in every way.

You will be pleased...

Thank you for all your responses...I truly appreciate it! I agree that the one drawback is price, but other that that, they seem wonderful!

I, too, repeat all the good things written about Paris Perfect! We rented the Sancerre and the Champagne and both were absolutely fabulous! Both apartments were better than shown on the website and they look wonderful there! They have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay most enjoyable, comfortable, and easy. Both of these apartments had great full-on views of the Eiffel Tower and watching her sparkle at night was magical! You're very fortunate because all the PP apartments have just had air conditioning put in this year! We certainly could have used it last year when temps were in the high 90's and very humid!

The 7th is a wonderful place to stay. The area where most of the PP apartments are located is full of restaurants, cafes, take-out places, boulangeries, grocery stores, a Picard store which has everything from appetizers to dessert and everything in between in a frozen form, Comptoir Richard on rue St. Dominique for the most wonderful coffee, etc., etc.

We found the area to be very close to the Bat-o-bus and enjoyed using that as our mode of transportation when we wanted to get somewhere in the 5th or 6th or on the Right Bank.

I am so jealous! Have a most wonderful time!

Enjoy~

I met with Carolyn of Paris Perfect in Feb. to preview some apartments. We discussed the A/C situation for those that did not have it. She told me that ALL would have A/C by the end of March!!

We will be staying in Montrachet for the third time in September. We absolutely love the location and the view. Everything (pharmacy, groceries, produce markets, take away shops, Picard for frozen food...) is within steps, along with bus stops for convenient lines to all over.
