I first heard EuroTrash from Italian friends - disgusted with what they thought of as over gilded, nonworking, show off Europeans whether they were in Europe, the US or wherever.

It seems from what many posters say that the term is now used to describe a certain type of person. And not in a flattery way, no matter where they are from.

We've called wealthy Europeans who disco all night, and sleep all day, on their post-college years in New York "Eurotrash". Incidently, we've called Indians who consider themselves morally superior to Westerners "Gandhis", after the Mahatma.

When I hear the term eurotrash I immediately conjure up Meg Ryan's &quot;eurotrash in Armani suit&quot; comment from <u>French Kiss</u>!
