I am going to be traveling from London to Paris in December, and I do not understand the different classes on the Eurotrain. I want to go first class. What is the difference in all the classes? Well to each his own, I always say. But some of us really don't like schlepping luggage on trains and busses so adding the $50 or so for the taxi to Luton and about the same for the taxi to Paris, I'll stick with the train, thank you. It isn't always about saving a few bucks. Comfort and convenience are important to some of us.

There is no difference in those two, just two different prices for the same thing. Sort of like getting a &quot;super saver&quot; we used to call them for coach on an airplace and sitting next to someone who paid full fare. It just depends on how and when you book if you can get the special leisure fare.

Mary: here's the difference:<BR><BR>Full Fare: Fully refundable and exchangeable -- refund can be performed up to 2 months after the travel date.<BR><BR>Leisure Fare: Available to all travelers, this fare is 50% refundable up to 3 days before train date of departure no refund available after that date. May be exchanged once before departure. Exchange must be performed in Europe.

Jules answer is, of course, more complete than mine. Yes, there are different restrictions with the two fares just like between a &quot;super saver&quot; and full fare coach seat on an airline. But the service is identical once you get there.
