Europe in February?
I have free time in February and would like to visit Europe. I know that the weather wouldn't be nice. But would it still be possible to go and enjoy London or Spain? If anyone would like to put together a quick agenda for me for just a few days, I'd appreciate it.

Sure you can go to Europe in Feb. I'm going to the UK for 13 days in Feb myself
but sorry "<i>If anyone would like to put together a quick agenda for me for just a few days,</i>" that's pretty much impossible unless you give us <u>something</u> to work with.
How many is a "few days"?
What sorts of things do you enjoy?
Do you want to drive or exclusively use public transport?
What research have you done yourself - are you leaning to any particular city(s) ?
Click on DESTINATIONS above and follow the links to places like London, Madrid, Barcelona, York, Edinburgh etc. It will give you a lot of ideas to get you started and then come back w/ at least some ideas we can work with.
It is pretty hard to plan a person's trip for them w/ no info/input at all . . . . .

Just a hint: February is carnival season. So if you are into festivals and stuff, how about a region that does celebrate carnival in a special way? I'm not sure about Spain, perhaps others will know more about what's on there. Other options: Italy (Venice), Germany along the Rhine (Cologne/Düsseldorf/Mainz area), or the South West of Germany and Northern Switzerland (Black Forest/Basel).

Also - give us an ida of waht weather you're willing to put up with. If you do Southern Spain or Italy it isn;t beach weather but isn;t really cold - and you can still do golf etc.
If you do northern europe - or the Alps - you'll have dead winter - with below freezing temps and a good possibility of snow.
Which would you prefer?

We spent 5 days in the Bavaria region of Germany in 2005. It was cold but not unbearable and we loved having the museums, restaurants, shops, castles, etc. largely to ourselves. The sight hours were severely restricted, but we just used to the time to sleep in a bit later than normal and take some long late afternoon walks through the enchanting snow covered Medieval villages.

I can't help you with Spain, but I would definitely recommend London in February. In fact, I'm going myself!
I was there last January and it was great - much quieter than when I was there in April.
Weather is relative... I live in Canada, so London weather is a pleasant break for me. The only issue is that it gets dark early, so you'll need to plan your days accordingly.
I'd say go for it!

I've visited Austria in February and nearly froze. Took a side trip to Budapest and enjoyed 50 degree weather. Regardless of the temperatures, we enjoyed ourselves. We still could visit museums, restaurants, ski - it all depends on what you want to see and do.

I agree with her commnts I have been in Prague in Feb were it was -13 and some other places a lot warmer in Feb. You wrap up warm and do all the things you want to do and enjoy it.I never really noticed how cold it was, the place was very pretty and I went everywhere I wanted to go. Europe is such a big place the weather can vary from one part to another. You need to think about what you really would like to do and ignore the weather.

But the most reknown ones are Cadiz and also the Canary Islands where it is their biggest event of the year. But even in Madrid there are some carnival events
