Euro Trip= Question about Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg

Going on a trip with the Fam to Europe in early June to London first, then to Paris (4 days each city)

Have six days after Paris to travel around SOLO! Couldn't be more excited. For now I am looking at the possibility of Luxembourg, Belgium (either Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, or Brugge) or The Netherlands (Amsterdam!)

Also other cities in France would be a possibility, but is there any place really worth seeing besides Paris?

Any help/recommendations/european trip experience would be greatly appreciated about any of those destinations.

I will also be traveling by Train for those six days, plan on getting a Benelux Rail Pass. Anyone done this before??

Well, of course there are. But what is worth seeing to me will likely be very different from what is worth seeing for you.

Read some trip reports, use the search features to find threads on different places you are considering, get some guide books.

Come back with some information on what you most enjoy and the options you have narrowed it down to and ask for comments.

Your question is far too general to get any helpful answers IMO.

What do you want to do?

Sounds like you are on the younger side, in which case Amsterdam is always a good bet.

Unless you are planning on doing a lot of train travel in those 6 days I would not bother with a Benelux pass. Do some pricing of the places you want to travel between and see if it is really worthwhile.

You need to think about what it is you want to see and do in your 6 days. Museums? Nightlife? Where will you stay?

If you are, as tg suggests, on the younger side then maybe Antwerp and Amsterdam would be of most interest to you.

Or to throw a cat among the pigeons maybe you'd enjoy Berlin even more?

Hey, I'm working for the Belgian railway, specialised in national and international travel. If you want to know the easiest or cheapers way to travel in Western Europe, feel free to ask.
