Bill, <BR>The Euro will not go into general circulation and replace national currencies until January 2003. It is presently used only in large financial transactions between international banks. What you may encounter is postings of prices both in the national currency and in Euros, particularly when shopping, though the transactions themselves will be in the national currency.

That EuroDollar - that's the name by the way - wont be used in all european countries. For example, it will be used in France, Italy, Spain, and some other select countries...but not in England. You will still have to do a currency exchange my friend - and they're still debating the issue, because they want to improve the currency...but they dont know how it'll settle here. They come in bills of 10, 20, etc. up to 50 I think. I read this information in an Awake! Magazine, and can find it for you if you need more information.
