Enjoying a traditional roast beef dinner on a weekday in London

Hi all,

I'm taking my wife to London to re-trace her steps living there as a young woman back in the early 90's. One of her requests is to enjoy a traditional roast beef and yorkshire pudding dinner. However, as I peruse restaurants serving this meal, I see only on Sundays. Does anyone have a recommendation for a restaurant/pub in London that would serve on a weekday evening. Much appreciated, tony

Yes -- Simpson -- on the stodgy side of traditional.

Rule's also does Roast beef & Yorkshire Pud but you'd both have to order it. It is also very traditional but I like the atmosphere more than at Simpson's.

Great call Tulips! On their website now, and indeed they offer rib of beef for two with yorkshire pudding. Thank you!

I'm open for additional recommendations from others.

If you do go to Rule's - arrive a bit early and have a drink in the upstairs bar.

All the recommendations have roast beef and the traditional accompaniments - thank you so much!

Now the hard part - deciding where to go
