Hi all,

I'm taking my wife to London to re-trace her steps living there as a young woman back in the early 90's. One of her requests is to enjoy a traditional roast beef and yorkshire pudding dinner. However, as I peruse restaurants serving this meal, I see only on Sundays. Does anyone have a recommendation for a restaurant/pub in London that would serve on a weekday evening. Yes -- Simpson -- on the stodgy side of traditional.

Rule's also does Roast beef & Yorkshire Pud but you'd both have to order it. It is also very traditional but I like the atmosphere more than at Simpson's.

If you do go to Rule's - arrive a bit early and have a drink in the upstairs bar.
