English labels in Paris museums and monuments?

Are there English labels and explanations for things in popular tourist sites in Paris? Like at the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, etc?

Or I should print out the detailed info and bring them with me to Paris?

Thanks.

Many attractions in France have signage only in French. Some places may have outsized laminated pages (so they can't easily be stolen) in multiple languages.

I would take any descriptions you find in a guidebook. Sometimes you can pick up an English language brochures when you enter. One museum I particularly enjoyed had almost nothing in English but still worth it.

I don;t recall any signage in english in museums - however amost all of them have the guidebooks you can purchase in many languages. In any case - if you're talking about art museums - the signage is minimal at best in any language.

I've also found the audioguides, when available, fantastic!

Actually, Rick Steeves Paris Guide is absolutely excellent for detailed self-tours of many of the most popular museums and day trip...

The Picasso museum is very nice and does have English-language descriptions alongside the French.
