Eiffel Tower help
We are taking our granddaughter to Paris in June and of course she wants to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower.
This will be our 13th trip to Paris. On #1 And #3 we went up....that was 16 yrs ago. Paris gets more crowded every year, especially in June.
Then 4 yrs ago we took her sister to Paris and up the tower but we were on a week long tour so didn’t pay any
attention on how to get tickets.
Now we are going on our own and are very comfortable getting around, making reservations at our favorite places, etc.
BUT....getting skip the line tickets for the Eiffel is mind boggling. I’ve checked every site I can find on the internet.
i can only find 9:15 in the morning, or tickets/tours only to the 2nd floor, or only up to April.
i know the Eiffel site itself sells 3 months in advance but is usually sold out in minutes.
We don’t mind paying more for a tour (even though we could do it on our own)
We just want to go up probably around 11am or 3pm
Does anyone know if some of these tours (Viator, etc). Will extend time available into June soon? They run about $85pp

I think it is fun to go at night as the lights twinkle every hour on the hour for about five minutes or so and the tower looks nice all lit up. You might try to have an early dinner and then just line up and enjoy the show. We went five years ago and the line wasn't too long at night. Also, the lines at the front of the tower near the fountains seem longer than those for the back "leg" of the tower.

They are building a huge glass wall around the tower now. You have to go through security now just to walk under it to take a picture. Bless you, for wanting to do this. If you ate at Jules Verne does that include a tour or at least entrance at a time you'd want?

Look at the Behind the Scenes tours, we did that in October when the regular tickets were sold out. I think we paid around 25 euro per ticket. The tour included a visit to the bunker below the tower and some other access that you wouldn’t normally be able to see. I think the ticket included the elevator to the 2nd level and once there you could buy a ticket to the top if you wanted. One tip - the ticket office on the 2nd level was closed (for lunch?) but we found a vending machine tucked away nearby where we were able to purchase the 3rd level ticket.

The OP apparently does not want to buy a ticket to the second floor, as she says she can easily do that but doesn't want to.
I don't understand the problem, either, you can easily buy tickets online to the Eiffel Tower summit in June, they just don't sell more than 3 months in advance. But today, you could buy many time slots for June 1st or 2nd.

Thanks for all the info. I was just going by comments on different sites that the tickets sell out in minutes.
I see that the ET site is up to June 1st so I will keep a watch out for the day we want. If that doesn’t work I’ll
go back to the tour places. Since this is #1 on our GD’s list I will come up with something.
Another must on her list is “onion soup”....LOL. I don’t think I’ll have to ask the FODORITES where to find that.
