Eifel Tower Restaurants

Any suggestions on eating at the Eifel Tower? We thought we would splurge one night for dinner and my son just loves the Eifel Tower. Thanks for any advice!

There are evening tours on the Siene River (Nightlights, or something to that effect) that begin with dinner at the Eifel Tower as part of the package. Highly recommend it. Views from the restaurant is fantastic!

There are two restaurants there - one is Jules Verne, a top place, expensive. Worth it? Most say yes, some say no. Call for reservations:
Jules Verne
Tour Eiffel 2nd Stage
Champ de Mars
75007 Paris
Tel: 011-33-1-45-55-61-44
Fax: 011-33-1-47-05-29-41
http://www.tour-eiffel.fr/teiffel/tour_uk/visite_virtuelle/visite_statique/page/restaurants.html
The other is:
Altitude 95
Tour Eiffel 1er etage
Champ de Mars
75007 Paris
Tel: 011-33-1-45-55-20-04
Fax: 011-33-1-47-05-94-40
cheaper, more casual than Jules Verne - considered more of a brasserie
For more Paris information go to www.anamericaninparis.com

Just in case you don't know, the Jules Verne restaurant in the tower is a Michelin 1-star restaurant and extremely expensive (I'm sure you would spend hundreds for 2+ people). YOu also have to book way in advance.

Altitude 95 is the one used on those tours.

Nikki,
Just to emphasize: be sure to make reservations at either restaurant. You will almost assuredly be disappointed otherwise. And if Altitude 95 is booked, try one of the tour groups mentioned. They can probably get you in.

Nikki, Consider having lunch at the Jules Verne instead. My daughter and I had a great time there with a fantastic view for $150 for both of us (and 2 glasses of wine). The food and service were wonderful.

I just ate at Altitude 95 last Tuesday. There is a Prix Fixe 3-course dinner for 45E, wine extra. You can also order a la carte-we found the prices reasonable, considering the breathtaking view. They offer 2 seatings, one around 1900 and then 2200. You must have reservations!!!!!
