RonZ,
Do you have the website for the restaurant? I'm not finding it by googling, although I've found other sites that describe the restaurant.
It sounds like a great place for lunch on a pretty day.

There have been a few mentions of Les Ombres, which is across from the Seine and provides panoramic views of Eiffel Tower. Also could eat at the Eiffel Tower (Jules Verne, Altitude 95). Any of these would require reservations...NOW.

Café de L’Homme, 17, place du Trocadero (16 arr). We had lunch here, eating outside looking at the Eiffel Tower, but it would be absolutely superb in the evening when the lights of the tower come on. You would definitely need reservations for the evening (01 44 05 30 15).

One of the best places you can go, for a fabulous dinner under the glassed roof ceiling with the Eiffel Tower and the Seine as your backdrop, with a terrific tasting menu, is the fab restaurant at the Quai Branly museum-the ultimate Parisian experience, where you can watch the sparkles go off around the Eiffel Tower at night on the hour until around midnight:
