As in lots of airlines. Easyjet turns up cheapest on Kayak.com, but Kayak doesn't cover all airlines (Ryanair, for example). If you do fly a budget airline like Ryanair or Easyjet, make sure you take into account all the extra fees and regulations (charging for luggage, carryon bags can only weigh so much, that sort of thing).
http://www.kayak.com/r/Saz5Ki (that search is for February, it's just an example)
Flying would be preferable for me, for sure. Ferries take awhile and can be overnight.

Don't know what is the "easiest" for you, but I think you could take the Thalys train from Amsterdam to Brussels (approx. 2 hours) and then the Eurostar train from Brussels to London (approx. 2 hours).

You need to time your trains carefully or you could end up with nearly an hours wait at Brussels but train is easiest city centre to city centre. You can book a single ticket which covers the whole route.
You can take a train and day boat combo which will take all day.
Or you can fly - Easyjet, KLM, BA, BMI, Lufthansa, VLM, depending on the airport you want to go to.

My reply wasn't clear - I meant taking the Thalys/Eurostar train combination could result in hanging around in Brussels for an hour if you time them wrong.
It depends to some extent on where you need to be in London, and how much you are willing to pay. You could fly VLM to London City Airport for instance or any of the other airlines to other London airports if they are better for where you need to end up. The Thalys/Eurostar set up could e faster than flying if you need to be in the centre of London.
