There has been a strong earthquake on Crete, the epicenter was 65 Kilometers west of Chania. It was 6,2 on the Richter scale,

The quake took place 2 hours ago, at 16:00 hrs local time.
There are no injuries or major damages reported so far.

Will post more, as soon as there is more information from the Greek Media.

Ok, no big deal no need to worry, we have many Earthquakes in Greece we are completely used to it and the buildings are built to stand up to 9 Richter.

Wasn't it an earthquake that destroyed Knossos?

There are no injuries or damages, the earthquake was finally 6.3 on the Richter scale.
