early departure from Florence

Leaving Florence on 7:20 Lufthansa flight
anyone know what time buses from train station begin in the AM to the airport and
length of time it takes to get there.

justjean, I took that flight and it's dark and cold out that early. I agree with bams. Order a cab the night before to pick you up. It's a short drive at that hour and well worth it.

I'm in Florence now, and my friend called a cab at 4:30 a.m. to take her to the airport and it was there before she got downstairs with her luggage. The taxi service is very reliable in Florence. The number is 055 42 42.

l_jackson - did your friend call herself or have the hotel do it for her? I have a 6:45 flight and thought I'd ask the desk to handle it. Did she call in the morning (or really middle of the night) or do it the night before? Many thanks.
