Due to BA strike flight home is cancelled what would you do?

My sisters, niece and I are booked for a week in Barcelona starting this Sunday. Our flights over are ok but one of my sisters' flight from London (BCN to LHR to BWI) has already been cancelled. Would you take a chance, cancelled the whole trip or beg, borrow and steal to get another flight no matter the cost? I guess I am a risk taker being of the opinion that something will turn up.

I think you can contact BA to get rebooked www.ba.com

Seems the sooner you do that the better off you will be cause you would perhaps get on the next available flight...

If BA canceled the flight they should be offering an alternative.

I agree with thursdaysd. I think it's incumbent on BA to provide an alternative. We recently had a flight through ATL cancelled and we were automatically rebooked through LGA/JFK which didn't thrill me, but turned out much better than I expected. Good luck. As Rain man would say, Gotta get to Barcelona, Gotta get to Barcelona. Have a great time.

Remember that for those of you NOT affected there will be "penalites" for cancelling. Make sure you know what they are.

They booked her on a flight the next day. Now we wait to see what happens with our flight from BCN to LHR. Isn't travel exciting?
