Dress code in Greece
My family is starting to pack for our trip to Athens and the islands. Our question is....is there anywhere that we need to wear long pants (for the guys) and dresses (for the girls) in order to get into and/or visit? When we went to Italy there was a dress code when visiting certain locations (churches).
We just want to make sure we are respectful.

Generally speaking, shorts and bare arms were not allowed in churches. Some churches had signs at the entrance, others had volunteers who shooed people in shorts away. Some people say there are "sarongs" available at the door for a quick cover up but I never saw any.
