Dordogne or Nantes and La Rochelle

thank u guys..im jus a lot confused as to where to go as there are so many options and beautiful places in france and i really wanna make the most of my trip with kids..i wanna be in paris for 5-6 days and loiree 4 days
rest 4 days can't decide where..
confused should i plan Dordogne or
Nantes ( Guérande, Le Croisic and/or Pornic)
and La Rochelle (Île-de-Ré.

Since the Loire will have the castles, why not a seaside break? I would choose La Rochelle.

Ile de Re will be boring for kids. I liked La Rochelle and Pornic. Sea side dining is fun, the kids can leave the table as you watch them.
