dordogne experts - has anyone heard of daniele delpeuch

Has anyone heard of Daniele Delpeuch. If I'm not mistaken she is the first female chef of Elysee Palace under Francois Mitterand. She offers accomodation and cooking lessons in her farm somewhere in the perigord region. Does anyone know what the name of the place is and has anyone been there?

I don't think she has a farm - just gives cooking lessons as part of tours. Check out this website:

I was about to post the same thing. She is doing what Natalie Waag now does. Guest cooking classes off their original schools on their home sites.

Cigalechanta, does Natalie Waag still live in Bonnieux? I read about her years ago, but have heard nothing recently and wondered if she continues to do the cooking weeks in her home. Did you spend some time there? If so, I'd love to hear about it.

She sold her house to some Americans (Francie said.) still lives part time there in an apartment. The rest of the time in Morrocco. No I did not stay there but after an exchange of letters it was case of my not driving to be able to get about by myself while staying there. But this was ten years ago. She still gives classes here and there that I have come across.

What is interesting about Waag is that she steered Alice Waters into the movement of cooking what is local and what is in season.I posted on another thread asking what happened to Waters plan to open a resto in Paris?
