Let's just agree that the plane was too small & cramped to be on a TRans-Atlantic flight. Of course all smart travelers know not to drink on a plane. You need to hit the cafe or pub after you disembark. Thanks guys.

I've flown Continental overseas once, and never again. But not because they're going to charge for alcohol, but because of the teeny plane. Three seats on either side of one aisle. I've taken bigger planes from DC to Pittsburgh. It was awful. Back to those lovely 777s.

Just flew recently on a Continental 777 from Newark to Madrid. Don't know where the so called "small planes" (which are ?) are being flown internationally.<BR>Of course "small planes" will be used where there is not much traffic. I remember some years ago when I flew on a 747 from JFK to Germany. There were only about 40 passengers on a plane with around 400 seats. Obviously the airline, Lufthansa, was not making any money on that flight!
