Don Alfonso, Sorrento
Has anyone been there recently, the search I did was from 2002. We will be in Sorrento
8/11-8/13 and are considering going. We will be at the Belleuve Syrene. How far away is it. The description says it is between Positano and Sorrento. Would we be better off going while we are in Positano which will be 10 nights. Does anyone know if they offer a courtesy driver since we will not have a car. Thanks! Diane

If you call them, they can order a taxi driver to pick you up and return you after dinner. It is in a town between Positano and Sorrento so it would be easy from either place, probably easier from Sorrento. In either case, not free.

Hi Diane,
You will have to pay for your transportation to and from.
It is about 6km from Sorrento.

Thank you both for the reply. Have either of you been there, if so I am a little confused by the price fix menu, does that include wine served with each course,(like a wine tasting dinner) or is wine purchased separately. Thanks again. P.s. how do I get this on the italy forum?

Hi Diane,
Haven't been there. Am still arguing with my Lady Wife over weather spending that much money for lunch is acceptable.
She thinks it is an outrageous waste of money.
IIRC, wine is extra.

There is no Italy forum. Only a Europe Forum.
