Yes - unless these are repeat visits you need more time in all of them.

As it stands you have 2 days in London and Paris 1 in Venice and Florence and 2 in Rome. Yuo are spending almost as much time getting from one place to another as you are actually seeing or doing anything. In the time you have I would do 3 hotels - no more - and see a little of the cities you are stopping in.

If you're satisfied with a quick look at all these cities then the itinerary is fine. If you want to experience these cities then you have over planned.

As much as I love Venice you should omit it, Florence, Pisa and keep London, Paris, Rome.

Canterbury is worth a day - as are several dozen other places - but you can;t see even the basics in London in less than 5 or 6 days.

There are lots of those. But with so little time in London, day trips should be lower on the to-do list.

Assuming you're going to be there in the spring or summer, Versailles will be packed. It was stuffed on a wet, gray, unattractive day in May when we were there in '07 and we arrived in mid-afternoon with only a couple of hours to wander around before we would drive off to the Loire Valley. Any decent day will be worse.

yes Canterbury is very interesting but if you've not been to London before, you'll probably want that third full day for doing things there, rather than spending the time going to Canterbury and back.

Actually florence would be the one I'd drop on this trip - you'll find more flights into venice from Paris than into Florence, and Venice will make a terrific contrast to all the other places you are seeing.

fly into Venice - 3 nights,
train to Florence - 3 nights
train or fly to Paris - 5 (4) nights
train to London - 3 (4) nights
fly home

Do you really want to spend a day and night in Pisa? You could make it a daytrip from Florence if you wish to go.

We have visited London twice a year for 40 years and the first time we were in Rome we spent 3 weeks and never left the City> ANd we spend about 10 days in Paris each year.If you just wanr to say you've been there and nothing else I guess your itin works but is you want to experience the cities leave off about 2'/3 of it!!!
