dinner reservations via email

Is there a site where you can make dinner reservations in London or Paris via email?

www.alloresto.fr, www.cityvox.com and www.parisrestaurants.com all allow you to book tables in Paris over the Internet.

In my experience, your hotel front desk would be more than happy to do it for you, and email the confirmations to you themselves

I'm off to Prague soon and have been making dinner reservation this past week. I tried a clearing house type restaurant web site but never heard from them. I did a google search and found most of the restaurants I'm interested in and emailed them directly. I'm leaving lunches open - I assuming I'll be able to walk in.

For Paris reservations try www.reservethebest.com. I've used them several times and have never had a problem.

Diane

I tried www.reservethebest.com this past spring. Never got a response. I recall several other posters noting they had used it in the past, but weren't getting responses this year. Has amybody used it recently?

I never need reservations anywhere in Prauge when I went. The best restaunrant is this little hole in the wall place that is down an alley. Oh I wish I could go back for their pizza. Yummy!!!!

If you use reservethebest and hear back from them is it ok to assume the reservation is good? They are the only ones who have the restaurant I am looking for listed, L'Appart.

Of you hear back ..no problem..as far as my experience goes...but lately I have not heard back ..it's like my questions are lost in space. I also noticed that while their sit used to list Paris and NY hotels and restarants also places in wine country..no longer , just Paris now..someting is strange!

Just following up on my earlier message suggesting you try reservethebest.com. Sorry to hear others had bad experiences. I used them as recently as this past May to make reservations at three restaurants in Paris -- no problems whatsoever.
