Our best dinner was at Out of the Blue (seafood only, changing menu). But we also enjoyed the Chart House - meat there as well as seafood. In general, we really liked the food in Dingle.

When I first went to dingle about 30 years ago, Doyle's was so outstanding we were thrilled.

The last time I was in Dingle is now about 5 years ago, but that time the Chart House was far and away the best food we had. don't know Out of The Blue.

And when you say "special occasion" I don't presume you mean a large crowd, but rather a small group for a birthday or anniversary, because the Chart House as I recall is not all that large, (part of its charm)

The Chart House seems to be the favorite. It will just be 2 of us for my birthday. Sounds perfect. Thanks.

Out of the Blue was wonderful. It was our favorite meal of the trip. My lobster was delicious.

We also had a very good meal at The Half Door. Their seafood chowder is amazing.

We just got back yesterday and ate a fantastic dinner at the Chart house. We were pleasantly surprised at how well we ate in Ireland.
