Dingle

We are planning on visiting the Cliffs of Moher in the morning, and then driving to Dingle. How far is Dingle from Tralee, and how long a drive. What is the quickest, shortest route from Tralee?

Pat: The distance is about 55 to 60 miles. The N86 goes all the way. It is a very scenic drive, so take your time.

Don't miss Dingle. I almost like it better than Moher. If you catch it on a pretty day, Conner Pass is some of the prettiest terrain I have seen anywhere.

Hi Pat
I don't know the route name but taking the Tarbert/Killimer Ferry to cross the River Shannon on the way from the Cliffs to the Dingle Peninsula will cut off about an hour of driving time. The ferry runs every half hour, alternating directions. It was fun, refreshing and broke up the trip.
Have a wondeerful trip!
