There is some diet version of Seven UP over there, also. I don't remember the name of it, but I'm sure you'll find it.
If you are really doing this mainly for caffeine, you can take some caffeine supplements, you know. I mean, if that is really the reason. There is someone in my office who drinks about six cans of Coke a day, it amazes me (ugh). I don't even like soft drinks very well and hardly ever drink them (I do rather like ginger ale).
Coke Light and US Diet Coke aren't the the same thing. I read information on this and they do have different formulae, most noticeably the sweetener is different. I think it is that stuff they use in Coke One in Europe, and it's different in Canada, also. You can read this in Wikipedia, actually, although I read more specifics somewhere else once (aspartame vs. cyclamates vs. acesulfame potassium vs. sucralose).

I absolutely could not stand Diet Coke until I had a Coke Lite. The only reason I switched was that the regular Coke in Spain was making me bloated. Now I can drink Diet Coke. Nothing beats Diet Dr Pepper though. Of course you won't find that over there.
