Day trips out of Cinqueterre
Can anyone reccomend fun day trips out of Cinqueterre on the train? We will be in Manarola for about a week. I have been there before and would like to venture out a bit.

I'd like to throw one out there that usually does not get suggested- Sarzana.

We did Pisa from Vernazza. Also Lucca.

What sort of destination were you thinking of? A small town to just stroll around in, or a city with lots of sightseeing attractions?

How about Genoa?

I just wanted a small or very Tuscan like town (not a big city) so that my partner could experience Tuscany since we do not have time to travel outside of Cinqueterre. I am thinking Lucca. I will check out Sarzana.

You will find fewer tourists in Sarzana. It is also much closer to your base. Either would be a good choice though.
