Day Trip Suggestions Barcelona

I know I can get a thousand different answers to this but I'm going to ask anyway. I am going to Barcelona for the first time this February. I'll be traveling with a friend. We're seasoned travelers both in our late 30's and both first timers to Barcelona. We'll be in the city for 7 days. We are both wine lovers but neither of us is particularly athletic. Day Trip thoughts?????

Agree with Gardyloo on Sitges, but it's much nicer in the late spring and summer when you can enjoy the beach.

The Empordà and Costa Brava (Monells, Peratallada, Pals, Calella de Palafrugell,...).
Vic and Rupit.
Besalú, Santa Pau and Castellfollit de la Roca.
The Penedès (where there are vineyards and yous can visit the "cavas" where the wine is made).

I haven't been, but DD was and absolutely LOVED Girona. She also raved about the Dali theatre and Figueras.

If you like mountains Montserrat can be one of the options. One of the pretties and unusual regions I ever saw. We visited Montserrat and Figueras on the same day, but we traveled in August.
I found this site with some pictures:

Montserrat for sure - famous monastery housing the venerated 'Black Madonna' - short train ride from Barcelona and then a funicular up the mountain to the sanctuary - can be mobbed with the faithful on weekends but, to me, this only adds to the charms. A short walk to take up top passes by religiously significant stuff.
Gerona is a larger town but one with loads of character and old buildings - just a short hop north of Barcelona.
