Day tours from Avignon?

Hi - my husband and I are looking for recommendations for a company to do a half-day/full-day tour out of Avingon? We would be interested in markets, seeing some of the smaller towns, maybe wine tasting, but just generally some countryside sightseeing.

We will be there at the end of September, and would have either Tuesday or Wednesday to do the tour. Any ideas would be much appreicated!

Thanks for those ideas. The first link looks especially good - minibus rather than a massive coach.

Thanks for your help!

Sarastro, I hope your second url is up to date because I used the Cars Lieutaud years ago when traveling as a non driver but they were discontinued and often didn't show up.
Luckily they are located outside of the train station, so after a no show I'd check out where the next train was going.

I don't know of any, but am sure the tourist office in Avignon has lots of brochures on this, if you wait until you get there.

THe tourist office is easy to locate and several tours depart from that location. And yes in the warmer months it's easy to get that covered bus and still see a great deal of the town.
