CT day trip itinerary w/kids -sound good?
We are traveling the first week of June to Tuscany with our 2 & 4 year olds. We’ve never been and are open to suggestions. We plan to avoid most of the hiking with the little ones.
Here’s what I’m thinking:
Park in La Spezia > Train to Riomaggiore > Hike to Manarola (we heard this is the one stroller accessible area) > Train or Ferry to Vernazza > If the kids are up for it train to Monterosso > Train to La Spezia

Sounds like a nightmare to me with kids that young - the part of the trail that is flat is Riomaggiore to Manorola which has been closed for a while - basically a boardwalk but damaged by rough seas. Monterrosso at least has a nice beach - all the others rocky seafronts. I'd rather drive along seafront near Tuscany if want to experience the seaside.

You know your kids, but I don't know any that age who could handle a day like that. You should go to Google Images or YouTube to see how crowded it can be.
But where "in Tuscany" would you be coming from?? Much of Tuscany is too far for this to be a realistic day trip, with or without little kids.
