Cruise British Isles

Can anyone recommend a cruise line/itinerary to cruise the British Isles?

Try posting in the Cruises folder, if you haven't already.

Would you clarify what you mean by the British Isles?

Alan...Sorry, I was only seeking clarifiaction. I have no idea as to what specifics the OP was referring. Was he looking for a cruise that circumvented England & Scotland? Was he looking for a cruise to Orkney or the Shetlands or maybe a cruise through the Western Isles.I believe all of these are considered a part of the British Isles. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Perhaps you could provide the OP with a more erudite response.

misterbud,

I would try the websites of some of the popular cruise lines such as Princess, Holland America Crystal Cruises etc.

Also have a look at the following www.cruisetourplanning.com

Personally, I can't think of anything more ghastly than being stuck on a cruise ship.

But Mrs F in law - who thought she agreed with this prejudice - is now mildly addicted to the Hebridean Princess. www.hebridean.co.uk/ships/princess.html

flanneruk,

I completely agree with your assessment of cruises. Claustrophobic! I have also looked at the Hebridean Princess and have to say I'm interested.
