Hi AP...
The name of the place is Villa Fotina. I am now in my own room (I was sharing before) for 15 euro. Double bed and my own bath. Each room as its own bath, small fridge and a TV with limited channels. I believe there is airconditioning as well, although this time of year it is not a problem. It is a basic place, just be aware of that (handheld showers, etc.) but very clean.
The price, I believe depends on the time you will be traveling. It is still considered low season. The proprietors are not overly friendly, but I find it perfect for my needs. If you'd like, I can go back later and get the brochure with the phone number. It is located a 5-10 minute walk from the square in Fira. I found it just by walking off the ferry and talking to all the folks who ask you to stay at their place. It was one of the cheaper ones of the group that was there. I probably got it so cheap because they were empty and it was last minute.
Hope that helps!

ok, I am a even a bigger doof than usual...I made a typo on the above post, so let's see if I can get this right finally.
The place is called Villa Fotini. The little brochure does not list an address, I think because it doesn't look central. It is 500m from the center of town...a 5-10 minute walk downhill (and uphill back home!)
The phone number if (0286) 24879-24265. There seems to be many similar places in the vicinity. No email address on the brochure either.
There, I think I finally got it right!
