three weeks to scotland!

My husband and I leave this evening for Copenhagen-Germany-Austria-Switzerland for 3 weeks!! First trip to Europe that's a real vacation and NO work.

Only 10 days left to Italy. I wonder what I'll forget to pack....

2 days to France! Just started to pack...

Well, it has dawned upon me that my trip to Vienna will shortly be upon me. You plan and plan and then the trip comes--and, before you know it, it's over and you start planning the next trip.

9 days til Paris...

8 days to Scotland.

Next trip is close to home........Maui and kauai for two weeks, then in a few months, alaskan cruise for two weeks and in one year........NORWAY! can't wait!

Not our next trip per se, but I did just score FF business class tickets for our trip to France next year - exactly 331 days out. The call took maybe 10 minutes - I had to wait at 12:01 for the Delta system to kick out the May 16, 2008 tickets.

HURRAY!!!

Now I have to remember to call Delta on July 12 to arrange our return tickets for June 7. Life can be so sweet!

and how were your trips? I have yet to write a report although I've sorted through my photos and even made an 80-page photo book...

My next trip is to Europe. (Germany, Austria, Czech Rep., Greece, Italy) leaving Sept 2...so 6 weeks away. Flight and first night hotel taken care of. Need to buy suitcase and pack (although I have my list and have already started shopping for the trip)

I'm going for 8 weeks...so I can not pinpoint just one thing that I'm excited about.

exactly 2 weeks to departure for Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Moscow and St Peyersburg.

Very excited.....

17 days till the next high speed round-the-world departure.

Flights: Seattle - New York - Miami - Madrid - Stockholm - Madrid - Tel Aviv - Madrid - Johannesburg - Cape Town - Johannesburg - Sydney - Auckland - Hong Kong - Singapore - Hong Kong - Tokyo - Vancouver - Seattle.

Main objectives will be seeing family in Israel, 3 game reserves and some good city time in South Africa, and a few days in Sydney and Northland in NZ, then plenty of street food in HK and Singapore (but short stops in both.) Gone 5 weeks.

Exactly 2 weeks! Italia again! Lovin IT! Roma, Napoli, Sorrento, Amalfi Coast, Firenze, Tuscana, Venezia & Lago di Maggiore!

Good food, good people, good friends, good shopping!

3 days - On Monday my wife and I are flying to Paris until the following Sunday. Then taking a train to Regensburg for a few days then on to Munich. Can't wait!!
