Ooh, just found this post - somehow it makes me even more excited reading how excited everyone else has been in the last two months!
Leaving in 6 days for 7 days in Paris. It's a fairly spontaneous trip, only bought the plane tix three weeks ago and BF's sister decided to join us 1 week ago - so I'm feeling pretty good that plane tix, passports, hotel res, and cat sitter have all been taken care of! Now I'm contemplating new luggage, and I haven't even begun to think of what to pack... But that's all secondary: I'm going to Paris!!
We're going for a reunion of the college program I was in during my junior year too many years ago - good enough excuse for me to get a Paris fix! It will be my many-eth time, BF's third, dunno about the sister. Looking forward to getting to spend a good chunk of time in Paris this trip instead of large swaths of the country, slowing down the pace, and lots and lots of good art and cheese and wine and...
Thanks for starting a great thread, flygirl!

385 +/- 30 days. Is this too far in advance for this thread?
This is our 2nd FAMILY trip to Europe, last was in May/June 2004 for 3 weeks. Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, and Italy were primary stops with a quick drive through Croatia and Slovenia.
Next trip will be 14-19 days and focus on southern Germany, Salzburg, and Klosters in Switzerland. We will travel with friends on their 1st European trip so it will be really nice to see their initial reactions to Europe. All trains and B&B except major city of Nuernberg.
I am "chomping at the bit".

Leaving May 25th for whirlwind trip to London, Amsterdam, Darmstadt, Luzern, and Paris. Not my usual MO for traveling (like to stay in one place and explore at my own pace) but it's what is happening this year. Am excited no matter what.
5th time to London, 2nd to Amsterdam, 3rd to Paris (but haven't been there since 1998).
Have been mentally packing the suitcase for weeks now!

Next trip is to London and Paris for a total of 6 nights in July.
Nowhere near ready but unfazed as London was 'home' for many, many years and I have been to Paris more than a dozen times.... still I'm very much looking forward to it and only wish I could stay longer....
I'm most looking forward to going 'home' for the first time in 2 years and hearing English spoken with an English accent followed by hearing French spoken while watching the world go by at an outdoor cafe in Paris.
