Officially, there are no five star hotels in Naples. However, you can safely consider the following superior 4-star properties:

Hotel Excelsior
Hotel Vesuvio
Hotel Santa Lucia
Hotel Parker's

You search will go much better if you don't have to rely on checking one property at a time. www.venere.com for window shopping, making inquiries, reservations and/or cancellations. Reliable without fault, and it has served me well dozens of times.

Best wishes,

Rex
Stars is not a logical way of rating properties, the Grand Hotel Parker is an old hotel, beautiful, totally remodeled, with lots of class and a tremendous view , its library is one of the best, Kings have stayed there through the years.
We loved it, a room facing the ocean is spectacular, it is not located down by the sea shore like the Excelsior but in the middle of a small elevation/hill , ....but it depends of each persons taste,...it also has a lovely restaurant in top floor, great service, .......

The Vesuvio and Santa Lucia are in the same class as the Excelsior and in the same marvelous area on the waterfront. I wouldn't choose Parker's, it's too far away from the action.

Stayed at Santa Lucia and really liked it. I think the Excelsior and Vesuvio are just a bit more upscale than the Santa Lucia - but it's still very nice and the location is wonderful.

Dona
