connection time in Zurich
Have only 65 minutes between
flights - one Swissair ticket, but have to go through the passport control and security for the European part of the trip. Not familiar with the airport.
The next flight is 5 hours later.
If our arrival is on time.... what do you think?

Mom flew into Switzerland from Phila on Thursday. Her plane landed at 8:50 am and by 9:30 she was through passport control and baggage pickup and was meeting me in the arrivals area. So if your plane lands on time, you probably won't have any difficulties. If your plane is late...that's another story.

In part depends on how many international flights land at once. I have waited 5 minutes at Immigration and I have waited 35 minutes - arriving on the same flight on different days.
There's a reasonably good chance of making it - but since you're protected by it being a single ticket it shuoldn't be a problem. But, I would also chcck availability on the next flight out just in case.

Zurich Airport is very efficient, I have never stood in line at passport control for more than 5 minutes.
The bad thing about the airport is that you have to take a train to terminals, but one comes along every few minutes and it moves fast.
Don't forget to say Greuzi or Tschuss to the passport control person!
